Exit HOOD short trade today because the company is releasing its earnings report later which could cause the price action to gap up or down.
Because trading is not about gambling, it is important that I completely exit the trade before the report is released – even though this will cause me to sustain a small loss.
2. HOOD
To my advantage, HOOD gap down today as soon as the markets opened because the QQQ had also done likewise.
As a result, I exited my additional capital short entry, at around the breakeven point, and moved the stop-loss of my first entry lower so that I could reduce my overall outstanding risk.
I will exit my initial short position as soon as the market looks like it will stop declining.
3. PEPEUSDT
Exit PEPEUSDT long position as soon as possible.
This is because the QQQ is declining and this is highly likely to cause BTC to fall strongly which, in turn, is likely to cause PEPEUSDT to greatly decrease.
If the position with the QQQ changes later today, then re-consider carrying out another long PEPEUSDT entry.
