As we can see above, BTC’s thick bullish Kumo Cloud on its daily timeframe has once again proven to be more reliable than relying on the price action pattern on its 4 hour timeframe.
This is a lesson that I already learned from attempting to short the SOXX on the 4 hour timeframe when the daily indicated that the price action was likely to continue being bullish.
That said, if the broader US markets decline strongly today, then it is likely to take BTC down with it; therefore, have a look at USOIL and the pre-market price action patterns:

The price of USOIL has fallen on its daily and 4 hour timeframe, therefore, we should expect the price action of broader US market, and Bitcoin to rise today.
Just found out that the broader US market is closed today so USOIL will not trade properly until 5pm.
